"Hidden amid the rocks, the shells under the seaweed,
the driftwood sitting on the sand..."
~Raymond A. Foss
My youngest daughter moved this weekend 6 hrs. North to a small University town hidden in a forest of redwoods along the California Coast. My husband and son brought back driftwood from the shore of her new home. Sea Cottage feels empty without her. But the tide is always moving...nothing remains the same. I take a deep breathe, dive in, let the waves wash over me, and flow with the water.
There is an ebb and flow to the tide...an embracing and letting go. A harmony in the changing current of our sea.
