As I enter the Lenten season I am quieting my heart. I have been on a path of embracing silence and quiet living for some time now. I truly have found a peace that I was yearning for. It seems as the world gets louder, I get quieter; as it goes faster, I go slower; and as it rises higher, I go lower. In quieting my life I am able to listen. My heart aches for 'the pure land'. I find goodness is everywhere.
