I am a peaceful Painter, with the California Pacific Coast being my inspiration. Pacific means peace. I began painting in High School with oils on canvas. I have been educated in oils, watercolor, ink wash, charcoals, pastels, pen and ink, drawing, drafting, metal and woodwork, and art history. Painting with water allows me the freedom to just let beauty come forth. My artwork is quiet, not intended to dominate a room. I use a pale color palette that brings calm to a space. Most of us are in need of a dwelling place to rest and rejuvenate, to find sanctuary in. My heart desires to cultivate peace in all that I paint.
