Painting is silent poetry...

Seawashed Studio
A Quiet Artist's Sanctuary
Artist Kerrie Sanderson

"Beauty finds me and I fade into quiet."
~Kerrie Sanderson

I decided to join in the Where Blogger's Create event at the last minute this year.   My studio hasn't changed much since last year except that it is quite messy with the new Collection I am working on for Winter. The Collection is called `Sacred Quiet` and comes from the stillness that I have embraced this year.  I am a Fine Artist in watercolor and acrylics.  I enjoy all forms of art and began in oils but have found my peace in watercolor.  I have learned to use the gentleness in watercolor painting with acrylics on canvas.  I also use a lot of white in my artwork which makes it quite different.  Currently in my studio there are paintings leaning here, there, and everywhere.

My Seawashed Studio is a quiet sanctuary where I find freedom and contentment.  As an artist I long  to cultivate peace.
