Pale Palette

"Come out here where the roses have opened.  Let soul and world meet."

On Summer solstice I walked through the flowers by moonlight...the light of the strawberry moon.  Everything was so quiet, only the petals whispering.  My soul awake in the garden while the night sky held all my dreams.
Last night we picked nectarines from the dwarf trees we planted last year in large pots. I baked a cobbler;  it tastes like Summer.
I continue to sketch roses and then paint them with a pale wash of watercolor.  The studio is my refuge during the heat of the day.  Original Watercolour Paintings 'Faded Roses' now listed in my Seawashed Shop

I will be participating in the Where Bloggers Create again this July.  Maybe you will consider joining in.  You can visit Karen Valentine's blog My Desert Cottage for all the information.  I will see you then, for my next post.  And for daily postings you can visit me on Instagram Seawashed Living
