Amidst The Flowers

"And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast rose from the dreams of its wintry rest."
-Percy Bysshe Shelley

Our English Roses have quietly blossomed in the warming of Springs earth. The petals are so delicate with the palest blush of pink. There truly is nothing quite like homegrown roses.  Their sweet  fragrance rests about us.

The mornings and evenings are lovely hours to be in the garden. We are planting a white wildflower and herb garden in our raised beds. I have been reading ~Virginia Woolf's Garden~ all Winter and am inspired to grow flowers. I received the book as a gift from the ever so beautiful Cabbages And Roses. The book has become my favorite Gardening book with Virginia's poetry throughout. You can visit my Instagram to see more of our gardens.

I look forward to getting lost in the days and hours of Summer amidst the flowers with palette and brushes in hand.  May the gentle beauty of these Spring days fill your soul with fragrance.
