The Winter Sea

"Deep is calling on deep..."

I have been painting the sea in its winter layers.

It roars from the depths, waves crash, and the tide sweeps over the dunes.

The shore is barren, the wind blows, winter has arrived.

"Deep is calling on deep,
in the roar of waters;
your torrents and all your waves swept over me."  Ps. 42

And the new subway sign in white wash with 'Pacific Coast' script in grey.  Available in my etsy shop Seawashed.

Sea Tidings,
Kerrie

Good afternoon sweet Maiden....how wonderful to embrace the sea in your art. It is endless from our reach and gives us so much to dream about! Your renditions are peaceful. Anita

Beauty that you see from the soul of the sea, a sight to behold.

I want to sit with a cup of tea at hand, you with your brushes me with mine listening to the piece painting and just quietly painting...Would be a dreamy well inspired time sharing with each other how we so spend our time.

Love your calm over here my sweet dear friend, we so have to catch up.

I smell your baking, your brushes soaking in oils and the scent of you painting with waves of all you inspire, a gift belonging to you and we love how you share.

xoxo

You so get it, that the sea is more often gray, than blue... your soft beautiful renderings inspire me to paint the sea, and be close to it, and smell it...
