'Noelle' is the newest in The Rose Series. She is an 8 x 8 x 1.5 original painting in the french nordic palette of white and grey. This painting (and all of my paintings) is done on a gallery wrapped, stretched, archival, acid-free, titanium acrylic gesso primed canvas.

I have painted the roses as if they are floating to give an ethereal feeling, like angels in heaven.

The entire canvas is painted in white first, then I add the roses.

My original paintings on canvas are always painted on the sides so there is no need to frame them, only if you would like to.

I will be doing several more of these rose paintings in the white and grey palette in different sizes.  I believe they would be lovely to add to your Christmas Decor or to give as a gift.

  6. Dear Kerrie

I'm so sorry I didn't know that you have been unwell. Like yourself I have less and less time to spend on the computer and am always missing certain posts.

It's refreshing when we do cross paths however and I love your new addition to The Rose Series.

Take care and enjoy all the activities you have during autumn - oops I mean fall!

  7. Gorgeous paintings - I love the simple colour palette!
    Happy Weekend!

  8. Hi Kerrie,
I have missed you so, I have had a long absence from blogging and could barely make it to reply when a comment was left for me.
I have been creating for my shop space and selling up a storm. The bad part about creating as you know it takes up so much of your time, and my shop space was suffering from my lack of attention to getting things caught up and created for my shop, as well as what I have wanted to get done around here for many months.

So you mentioned my Farmhouse stools/mini bench I was already planning to place them in etsy, I have 3 more in the works, cut out and getting them screwed together then primer and paint and distressing. I can pack them up and ship them really easy, they are heavey, I use soild 2x4 wood for framing not that light weight deck wood.
I am in love with the outcome and truly have to keep one for myself, I have never owned a step stool and have always wanted one.

Thank you for encouraging me to sell them on etsy, you make me feel so worthy and valued with my art, I just adore you.

Did you like the French chest after the paint finish more or less, I figured I could always strip it down if it did not spaek my same language and how it made me feel.

Love your art and I have it here and there in my home, Your crads are on my desk rack that holds inspiration to me, and I am certain you will see it in the December the spring issue of Romantic Country :)

I will be ordering your Nordic trees I hope this week for my holiday cards to my special clients and family members.

Have a beautiful week to come, be INSPIRED to Create FURNITURE pieces you will also fill your home with these little treasures like I dod from time to time.

Blessings with your new furniture line from the seawashed cottage.
Perhaps a piece will wash ashore my way!
