I did have such a sweet tea time this morning. Three hours in the quiet with God, only Bella by my side, while the 'children' slept in. My children are now teens, but they are still 'my children' and so I will still call them children, is that okay? I was able to linger over my cup of Earl Grey with organic sugar and nondairy creamer, pray, read the Word, ponder, meander in the gardens while watering roses and a dry japanese maple. Such a slow, calm day it's been. No worries, no troubles, just conversations of happiness with ones that I love. Mondays are always my 'down' day and usually when I do the bulk of my Cottage~keeping, but not today. No, I just stepped softly and gently while beholding the beauty that surrounded me in every little way. Refreshing I needed after a busy past week and weekend. Tomorrow I will have to begin packing for our trip to the sea...In less than a week we will be on our way to five days at the Pacific coast. Soon I will be relaxing in a beach chair with pearl painted toes in sand.
